At last, Retro Robot is now up and running – a new community driven TV & Film wiki – dedicated to documenting every inconsistency, mishap & plot hole that can be found. Powered by…well, anyone that wants to help out.
‘Hasn’t this already been done before?’, I here you say? Yes it has, but only by a few websites and as far as I know, never using the awesome power of the MediaWiki software (but I could be wrong).
The idea all started after watching TV and noticing a plot hole in an episode. After watching it I wasted around an hour of my time googling for the error and the episode title just to confirm it and put my mind at rest.
After all the googling and finding nothing, I realised that all the information for this sort of thing had to be better organised and more cleanly & clearly laid out than the way that most websites that I’ve come across are doing at the moment, so that it could be better accessed and found by people like myself. Since I had a spare domain handy and have always wanted to start a community project, that’s when I thought ‘what better way to do it than in a Wiki format?’ And thus: Retro Robot was born.
So if you’re inner geek/nerd is strong, and you’ve spotted a few inconsistancies or plot holes then head over to the Retro Robot wiki Sign-up and start editing.
